About The Colonial Quarters in Chullickal, Fort Kochi, Kochi

If you think you need some warmth, quiet and interesting stories, pack your bags and come home to us. The cottages are 60+ years old, very comfortable and we guarantee a soulful experience and a peek into the spirit of the old Cochin. We look forward to welcoming you to The Colonial Quarters.

You can chose the welcome you want, and your options are:
1) The Forever Young Fat Fannys' Squad, led by yours truly who can pamper you with a lot of love. We are also ever ready to share our wisdom.
2) If you are pet friendly, The Pawerpuff Squad, led by 'Friday', our furball and mascot. Her superpower is cuddling to death and she will keep your priorities in check by constantly making sure she gets a tummy rub.

Both Friday and the Fat Fannys' are pretty non intrusive, and will respect your personal space at all times, so don't worry about privacy. We live in a separate house across a wall and you get a cottage (2 bedrooms, kitchenette, dining room, bathroom, lounge, verandah, a small garden and all that jazz) all to yourself. Theses are houses built by our dad - The late P.P. Paul (01-01-1910 to 30-01-1985) - may his soul rest in peace...., one of the pioneers of Neo-Cochin shipping industry.

If you would like to spend some time with us, please do let us know in advance, just to ensure our availability as we would be busy with our chores (regular appointments - at the local cinema, and shopping - mostly fish and facetiming with my sibling social network. We'd be happy if your troupe includes people who are young at heart like yours truly, who we could probably compare notes with on 'Living it Up'. "Gracefully aged", that's how we like our wine too.

The house is in a private housing colony (like a gated community) in a serene area, away from the hustles of Fort Kochi and Mattancherri, yet near enough to hop onto a bus/auto to go sightseeing.All the main attractions at Fort Kochi are ten minutes of cycling distance away from our cottage. You can enjoy the heritage walks and come home to tranquility. The road that the Panakal enclave faces is frequented by buses, autos and Uber cabs so don't worry about mobility or connectivity. Alternatively, if you bring or hire a vehicle/bicycle, we have parking space available.
