About Sathyapathai Educational and Charitable Trust in , Kilakarai

Sathyapathai Educational & Charitable trust is the family trust of Mr. KADER SHAHIB MOHAMMED ABDULLAH, called as K.M. Abdulla, who is one of the prominent journalist & social activists. He also served as a councilor for the KILAKKARAI while KILAKKARAI was panchayat board during 1970s. Mr.K.M. Abdulla worked in the field of journalism from the year 1974 till 2007. He was also an active social worker in the vibrating city of Kilakkarai. He was one of the person who acted as mediator between the muslim community & other community to bring the peace among them during mid of 80s, where the communal riots were erupted & disturbed the harmony of the kilakkarai residents. He was also an active politician during these period & with his capacity with the political leader rendered many valuable service to KILAKKARAI community indirectly. He was well know for his critic as a journalist, where he used his influence to correct the performance of the civil bodies in Kilakkarai. He was an active initiator & participant of KILAKKARAI PEACE COMMITTEE, which was formed by the prominent authorities of KILAKKARAI to maintain the harmony among the different communities. He was first person to register as a FRIEND OF POLICE in KILAKKARAI, when it was introduced by the TAMILNADU GOVERNMENT & his contribution was invaluable & not measurable. Apart from his social participation he also served as a SECRETARY & JAMATH PRESIDENT of North Street for more than 20 years. Based on his experience in the filed of public service, SATHYAPATHAI EDUCATIONAL & CHARITABLE TRUST is formed to help the needy people through his family members.
