Hostel Rules and Regulation

1.Students are not allowed to consume alcoholic, narcotic drugs or any intoxicating substance including pan, talab, khaini and cigarettes in the hostel premises.
2.All visitors to the hostel including the parents/guardian should take permission from the hostel authority with appropriate reasons.
3.Students should not keep any unauthorized property and unauthorized guests in his/her room.
4.No person, either guest or otherwise shall be permitted to stay overnight in any part of the hostel. Girls are not allowed to enter between 9 PM to 6 AM at boy’s hostel.
5.Boys are not allowed to enter at the girl’s hostel without permission.
6.The boarders are not allowed to invite any lady guest in to their rooms in the boys’ hostel.
7.All students are expected to be back in the hostel by 4.30 PM. If any student wishes to be away, should take permission from the hostel authority with appropriate reasons.
8.Boarder should not keep costly items like jewelry, electronic gadgets etc. They should ensure proper security of their valuables. Hostel authorities shall not be responsible for any theft or damage.
9.The boarders are not allowed to take any common room or mess property into their rooms except on issuance of the same.
10.Students should handle hostel equipments, furniture, mess property carefully and not abuse or tamper with it. If so then applicable fine will be charged by the hostel management.
11.Students have to use water and electricity judiciously. If fan, tube, etc., found ‘ON’ in the absence of the students at their rooms, fine will be charged by hostel authorities.
12.Garbage and wastage only be put at garbage box available at the hostel premises.
13.Students during their stay in the hostel will be governed by the hostel management rules.
14.Students will not enter rooms of other students without permission of the inmates.
15.Every case of illness and accident must be reported immediately to the hostel authorities.
16.No function or celebration shall be organized at hostel premises except with the permission of the Warden.
17.Students suffering from contagious disease will not be allowed to stay at hostel. Decision of the Warden in this regard will be final and binding.
18.Allotment of room furniture etc. will be entirely at the discretion of the Warden and no complaint in this regard will be entertained.
19.All matters relating to differences among students and complaints against theft shall be brought to the notice of the hostel management. No police complaint will be lodged by the student before taking prior permission from the hostel management.
20.Any complaint from the neighbors/society will result in strict action.
21.Hostel accommodation (room) can be changed by the management if they found it necessary at any point of time.
22.Students indulging in use of abusive and threatening language, physical fights, use of force to get unfair act accomplished, etc. will be punished. Further, they are liable to be expelled from the hostel.
23.Playing music/record player etc. loud enough to cause disturbance to his/her neighbor(s) is prohibited. Defaulters will be punished. Repeated acts will render cancellation of allotment of Hostel room.
24.Boarders should keep their rooms and hostel premises clean.
25.The boarders are not allowed to invite undesirable elements into the hostel premises.
26.The boarders are not allowed individual cooking etc. in the rooms and messing outside the Hostel is also not allowed.
27.Any act of manhandling, group fighting, intimidation or violence, wilful damage to property or drunken behavior constitutes a serious offence, will be dealt accordingly.
28.The boarders are expected to live in the hostel as a community and with a full sense of responsibility. They should behave with restraint and decorum and should not act in any fashion, which may cause disturbance to anybody. The boarders shall observe 10.00 PM to 4.00 AM as silence hours.
29.The concerned hostel authorities may visit/inspect the rooms of boarders any time to ensure proper cleanliness and other discipline related matters.
30.THE BOARDERS SHALL NOT INDULGE IN ANY ACT OF THEFT, IMMORAL ACTS, AND MISBEHAVIOR WITH FELLOW BOARDERS. SPREAD OF REGIONALISM, COMMUNALISM AND CASTEISM CONSTITUTES A SERIOUS OFFENCE, WILL BE DEALTH ACCORDINGLY.
