About Vivekananda Youth Forum - UoH in University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad

In remembrance of Swami Vivekananda’s work related to Education, Youth, Development and various other aspects contributing to make India a stronger and greater nation, educational institutions across the country have planned a variety of activities at their own level as part of celebrating Swami Vivekananda’s 150th Birth Anniversary Celebrations.

With his inspiration we have started Vivekananda Youth Forum – UoH, a voluntary organization completely managed by young students of our university who wish to make a difference to society at large. It is aimed to create a platform for our university community to do service and other activities which will be beneficial for all of us.

We conduct several activities which include community service, weekly discussions, talks, movie screenings, competitions. Since a large fraction of the student population is going through stress and various emotional problems, we hope our Vivekananda Youth Forum will play a significant role in motivating and inspiring the youth to reach their goal.

“Give me a thousand youth with body of steel and courage of a lion and I shall transform the nation”.
