NTR Trust is a Public Trust founded and managed by none other than a great visionary of our times Sri. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu in fond memory of the Legendary Late NandamuriTarakaRamaRao(NTR) and has been in existence since 1997 with a vision to create an empowered and self reliant society through socio-economic development.

Under the aegis of the Trust today FIVE Divisions are being run. Initially the Trust emphasized on Education,then started the Health Division, Blood Banks, Entrepreneur and Employment Division and NTR Sujala to provide Safe Drinking Water in fluoride and saline affected villages.

EDUCATION:
Recognizing that the most effective way of socio economic development of our society is through Education, the Trust established in 2005 NTR Model School and Junior College in a sprawling campus near Hyderabad.
The goals and focus is not only to provide the best education but also develop the students in extra-curricular activities and overall development to face the challenges in life.
The school has been running for the past 8 years educating over 800 children each year from class 6th to Intermediate. The trust ensures that the children once enrolled in NTR Model School are taken care till they complete their education and are counseled and guided till they become economically independent.
It is with pride we can say that the school is registering 100% results in SSC Public Examinations from its inception.
The NTR Model School not only has spacious playgrounds to encourage talented students in different games and sports but also has a well equipped Library and Computer Labs too. Our well trained and qualified teachers have ensured that students have brought a lot of laurels in various academic competitions and tests conducted and in Inter-sports Meets.

HEALTH DIVISION:
The Trust organizes regular Health Camps and Mobile Health Clinics across Andhra Pradesh, specially the rural areas and agency areas to serve the economically backward classes of society. Lack of basic medical facilities in rural areas even to treat simple ailments necessitates the Trust to conduct regular Health Camps.
The Trust operates Mobile Health Clinics and Camps thus bringing Primary Health care to the door step of the needy. The Trust lays special emphasis on Woman and Child Welfare, Pre-natal check-ups, screening for Cancer, Eye care and General check-ups. Health Camps are also conducted on priority basis during epidemic outbreak.
The Health program envisages general checkup, dispensing of medicines and spectacles free of costs. Identification of chronic diseases and these patients are referred to hospitals for secondary health care at discounted rates. The Trust with its initiatives in conducting Health Camps has provided access to Primary Health Care Services in rural areas and subsequently led to increase in rural productivity and reduced health care expenditure.

BLOOD BANK:
The trust started its first Blood Bank in Hyderabad in the year 2008 and was the first stand alone Blood Bank in the country to have NABH Accreditation along with ISO-9000 Certification.
In 2009, the Trust started its second Blood Bank in Guntur and in 2013 started its Third Blood Bank at Visakhapatnam.
The Trust plans to set up two more Blood Banks at Warangal and Tirupati to provide Safe Blood to patients across the state of Andhra Pradesh and neighboring states.
The Trust started its ID-NAT (Individual Donor-Nucleic Acid Testing) Lab,the first of its kind in South India during 2012. This test helps in early detection of virus like HIV, Hepatitis B and C. With the setting up of ID-NAT Lab, NTR Trust Blood Bank has achieved global standards in Blood Banking.The statistics of NTR Blood Banks are given below:

NTR SUJALA:
Realizing that 16 Districts of Andhra Pradesh have been affected by Fluorosis and salinity in the ground water, the Trust had envisaged setting up of Water Treatment Plant (Reverse Osmosis Plants) in the year 2010 to provide Safe Drinking Water in villages.
The Trust ensures supply of Safe Drinking Water with an aim to cover all Flouride and Saline Water affected villages. By providing Safe Drinking Water, Water-borne diseases are prevented. There has been a reduction in Health Care expenditure thus increasing productivity in the work force.
The Trust presently operates and maintains 51 Water Plants under the brand name of NTR Sujala. The Trust also provides free Safe Drinking Water to Schools, Hospitals and Anganwadi Centres.
