The Quli Qutub Shah Government Polytechnic was established in 1985 at Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad under Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority. It was started with three branches of Diploma in ECE, MECHANICAL and CIVIL Engineering with an intake of 40 each.
The college was shifted to new building which is located at Chandulal Baradari, Opp: Zoo Park on 20-11-1992 with H.T. Electric supply and without hostel facility under government.
