Bhagya nagar Ayyappa Seva Samithi is a Social Service organization which is increasingly attracting the attention of academic and industry researchers intrigued by their affordances and reach.This special theme section of the Journal Computer-Medicated Communication brings together scholarship on these emergent phenomena.

The main aim of these organisation is to serve the Ayyappa devotees during Makara Sankranthi season and does Annadhanam at Sabaramalai where large number of devotees visits the shrine during Makarajyothi and it is difficult to get quality food. We are doing Annadanam since Few Years during Makara Jyoti at Nilakkal, Sivam, which is around 10 kms from Pamba where pilgrims park their vehicles and proceed for Darshanam of lord Ayyappa.

We also organise few activities like:

*-Blood Donation Camp
*-Bass Audio CD inauguration
*-Annadhanam on Vaikunta Ekadasi
*-Water Camp and distribution of food on Every Thursdays
*-Free Medical Camps

Apart from above activities Bass manages Water camp 365 days at Osmania General Hospital premises and serves Chapathies and Biscuits to the patients at OGH.

All the activities are acknowledged by the society and many articles were published in local news papers and Magazines of Hyderabad about BASS and social service.
