About Sunday School - CMEC in Centenary Methodist English Church, Chapel Road, Nampally, Hyderabad

The Sunday School at the Centenary Methodist English Church is run entirely by dedicated men and women of God who volunteer their services to teach children the Word of God. Forty-three regular teachers minister to the children apart from the SS Executive Team that runs the Sunday School operations.

The uniqueness of this Sunday School is that it is not just for kids but we also have classes for adults as well as for also those who want to pursue part time theological studies.

The highlights of the Sunday School are the opening and closing assemblies, which are a riot, with high energy singing ….. just what kids like... but the children receive a lot of spiritual food in the classrooms which is the primary focus.

Over 200 children attend the Sunday School which starts at 9:30am, right after the morning worship service and ends at 11:30am.

Children for all backgrounds are welcome and we have a class for every age until the kids are 18. After that they go the young adults class and older ones mover the Adults classes, which have exciting Bible Studies.

The yearly budget is around 2.5 Lakhs, all of which is raised from
the Sunday School offertory and donations from students and teachers.
