About TEDxHyderabad in Gachibowli, Hyderabad

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. TEDx is an independently organised licensed TED event.

In 2015, we were in the process of creating a year long engagement with our attendee community through various TEDx event formats and social initiatives. We successfully organised 4 different events that led us to be selected for an Anchor program by TED. Our good run is continuing through 2016 too with the launch of some successful social initiatives for the city of Hyderabad originating from our salon events.

We are back with our second edition of TEDxHyderabad 2016 - an independently organised TED event on September 25, 2016 in Hyderabad. The theme of our event this year is "Crafting Our Future". We invite speakers/performers both Indian and International representing diverse backgrounds to share their stories and ideas with you. Our events are not for profit and attendees can join us only after undergoing the process of curation. TEDxHyderabad 2016 is a ticketed event.
