Telangana Producers MINI THEATER Owners Co-Operative Society is formed to create an ecosystem between producers and exhibitors in the Telangana Film Industry. The Telugu States have been bifurcated in to two States and film industry in Telangana need to be developed & strengthened; today Telugu Film Production happens in Hyderabad which needs to have studios and other facilities, for making and release of feature films. More than 200 films are produced every year and thousands of families either of technicians or of artists apart from other indirect employees, depend on the industry for their survival. Today the Producers interests needs to be protected as their investments have to come back so that they can produce more movies, with the current scenario of exhibition , with more than 80% of Cinema Halls which are controlled by third parties, it is very difficult for small and medium budget producers to recover their investments. The Existing single screens have huge capacity of 700 seats and above and filling up is a major concern, with the huge overheads, theatre eat away major share and the balance is taken by the lessee or the third party on account of which the producer getting no share. The Telangana Producers Mini Theatre Owners Cooperative society have come up with an innovative concept of Mini Theatres which can be built in 3000 Sq. ft. onwards with a seating capacity of between 50 to 200 and not more than 200 as the location and audience potentiality requires, can be set up at a very low cost.

The society plans to construct such Mini Digital Theatres with private participation and also manage, them ensuring movies getting a play time at this theatres. The society also plans to protect Producers interest in helping them save publicity cost, and also help them in coming out with productive, sensible, and quality content. The Society wishes to encourage Small Budget Producers, New Talent, New Artists, New Film Makers and Local Artists & encourage Local technicians. Now the necessity has come to film industry to establish a parallel society to rescue the low budget films& film producers, such as the TPMTOCS, to safe guard their interest and investment by indulging themselves to be part and parcel of distribution and exhibition sectors due to the reason that ever since all the low budget films are being neglected by the existing film chamber, while releasing their films. The principle aim and object of TPMTOCS is to accept and admit the producer and Mini Theatre owners as its members only.
