The festival encourages films with visual effects. Smaller budgeted films can produce amazing things with the advances in motion graphics and visual effects software programs. Independent filmmakers are independent thinkers with fresh ideas and new ways of seeing the world. Without having a venue to showcase their work, SDFFI Film Festival will establish and create a home for those independent filmmakers.
