The Goethe-Zentrum is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany with a global reach. We promote knowledge of the German language abroad and foster international cultural cooperation.

The Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad is situated in the beautiful surroundings of Banjara Hills. As the premiere German language centre, in the city we run numerous German courses, with ca. 900 students per annum.

Our cultural activities, have enabled us to acquire recognition as an established agency within Hyderabad’s cultural and educational cityscape. Our cultural events, over 80 per year, range from Western Classical Music to Art Exhibitions, Theatre Plays, Dance Performances, Poetry Readings, amongst others.

Now, more and more we are becoming a green hub environmental friendly activities in Hyderabad- from recycling over pedestrian movements to vegan and organic food - Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad is becoming a source for simple sustainable living!
