About National Career Service (NCS)

On 20th July, 2015, at the 46th Indian Labour Conference, Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched the NCS web portal www.ncs.gov.in. Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India is implementing the National Career Service (NCS) project, which has been seen as India’s largest employment platform. To enable people of India to take their destiny into their own hands and be competitive in the global arena, the Government of India launched three important initiatives, which are “Make in India” which will generate employment opportunities, “Skill India” which will bring to the fore skilled manpower and “Digital India” which will bring the power of the Internet and technology to the vast majority. NCS is the platform, where it all comes together.

NCS aims in bringing job-seekers, employers, counselors, trainers, and placement organizations together by offering convergence of information that enlightens minds and empowers people.

The Portal links all through Aadhaar-based authentication and the registration is online and free of charge. Apart from Aadhar Card Number, One can register as Job seeker by using PAN Card, Driving License, PASSPORT, NREGA Job Card and Voter’s ID Card.
