Ignited Minds is the name of the children's skill development programme taking cue from the famous title written by Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
This program can be treated as a tribute to one of the greatest visionaries of India who inspired many youths, including me. Ignited Minds, takes inspiration from his noble thought of working towards nation building by nurturing the educational needs of every child.

This programme aims to enrich the lives of the children by fostering a love for learning different skills needed during schooling n beyond. Ignited MInds strongly believes that the behavior of a child is shaped by the ethics and values we instill in them right during their early childhood years.

It is a programme of series of story telling sessions, where a story teller shares varied stories with the children.Stories act as a great medium to enlighten the young minds.

This program majorly helps to develop the following in every child without any exceptions:
- listening skills
- vocabulary
- values and ethics
- imagination
- emotions
- model the qualities of leaders


"Come become a Bookworm"

It is a programme to instill reading habit in the children. (For age group : 7-9 years)

The reading club conducts many activities like book reviews, group discussions based on the books read. so as to arouse the creative instincts and reasoning abilities in the child, the discussion are about the characters in the story, the characters you liked more and why, how would you like to change the story ? can you add more color to the story ? so on ...

Unfortunately, the schools today focuses more on how to make a child explode into writing but the very important skill of reading takes a beating. So this very basic necessity gave rise to such program offering.

There are multiple benefits of developing a reading hobby and having group discussions post it ,a few have been mentioned below :

- The reasoning abilities of the children are activated when they describe and discuss the story.
- It helps the children explore and express their feelings in a group.
- It makes the child more fluent in the language.
- It helps the child to master the linguistic skills in a fun way and in informal setup, unlike the school classroom.
- It helps a child to understand the deeper meaning of the lessons learnt in school and without any parental support as their reasoning buttons have been activated.
- It also opens the doors of self-learning, self-help, self-development, leading a child towards a path of acquiring knowledge all by themselves.
