About Dept of Electronics and Communication Engg. - VJIT in Aziz Nagar Gate, Chilkur Road, Hyderabad

VJIT Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering were established in the year 1999. Within a short span of time, the department has established itself as one of the best in the college and secured approval for additional intake of another 60 in 2006-07. In the year 2012 the department got an approval for additional intake of 60. Current strength of ECE Dept. is 240 from the academic year 2013-14.

The Department is adequately staffed with faculty strength of 64. Meeting the AICTE norms there are 12 non–teaching staff also supporting the department. There are 3 professors, 15 Associate Professors and 46 Assistant Professors.
