PROFILE OF THE COLLEGE
Sarada college of Hotel Management (S.C.H.M) was established on 22nd May2003 under the aegis of Jayalakshmi Educational Society. The Society was registered on 14th May 2003 under Registrar of Societies act, Rangareddy District.
The President of Society, Ms.Sarada C, has extensive exposure both academically and professionally, she has excellent domain understanding, under various capacities she was a senior faculty and Principal of Hotel Management colleges and gained more than 14 years of experience.
SCHM has grown rapidly both in size and reputation the mission of our institution is to provide excellent education in our chosen field and prepare people of character caliber and vision to build the future world.
SCHM has also been awarded as the best hospitality college for the academic year 2012- 2013, from A.P Hotels Association.
The college has demonstrated impressive performance on all parameters that bring greater learning, environment, academic excellence and career oriented approach. Its record of accomplishment speaks for itself; excellent programmed structure, highly qualified faculty, and strong relationship with industry and placement record of 100% since inception, concerning quality and employability.
Curriculum:
The college currently offers a 3-year degree program in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, which is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad (BHM &CT). It also offers a One and Half Year program in Certificate Course in Food Production affiliated to State Board of Technical Education and Training (CCFP). The college as part of its curriculum organizes field trips, guest lectures from various professionals of the industry. The college also conducts many extra curricular activities such as food festivals and cultural festivals.
Placements:
The nature of training that students receive at our college makes them natural favorites when it comes to projects and placements. The college lay great emphasis on placements which is the culmination of student’s learning. As the students are admitted, they are groomed to become leaders in their respective fields. This is done through strong and qualified training personnel.
Besides technical inputs in their domain, students are put through rigorous training program, workshops and counseling sessions during their stay here. Students making a career in specific sectors are provided the required knowledge and skill training to enable them to enter these sectors. Students who cross the minimum benchmark of performance are assured of 100% placements from the institution. It has placed more than 200 students as of date. Some of the hotels where these students are placed are The Marriott, ITC Luxury Collection, Taj, Leelas, The Oberoi, Grand Hyatt, Novotel, ISTA, The Radisson, Inter Continental, Minerva Group, The Golkonda, Jaypee Palace, The Park and many more.
