About Ahle Bait High School & Junior College in 23-1-495, BIbi barzar, Hyderabad

Ahlebait Institute was formed as an education society on 6th of February in 1970 in Door No 23-1-495, Bibi Bazar, Kotla Alijah, Hyderabad - 500002 after being informally inaugurated in the late 1950’s in the garage of Amir Ali Rahimtula’s residence at 148 Sunder Nagar in New Delhi 11003 by his mother Gulbano Rahimtula. Shifting soon thereafter to a place provided by Pir (Sheikh) Hazrat Khwaja Hasan Sani Nizami in Basti Hazrat Nizamudeen near Dargah-e-Nizamudeen Aulia in New Delhi 11003 as a girl’s primary school to educate the girls of the Mohalla.

Putli Alladin Rahimtula ran the primary school in Hyderabad and had it recognized as an English medium School by the Andhra Pradesh State Government and later upgraded it to a Junior School with classes from pre-primary to 10th standard. She was assisted by her son Hasan Nawaz Rahimtula who added to the infrastructure of the premises and obtained permission to start Junior College by the State Government in 2007.
His son Zain Rahimtula after graduating from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) in London England takes interest in the institute’s activities and took the initiative to Start Radio Charminar( community Radio).
