Subhiksha was started on October 8, 2009, with the contributions of its founding members.

Mr. Pondi Kishore Kumar and Ms. Arunasree are at the helm of the affairs of the organization and are working day and night to meet the organization’s objectives. Both have a post-graduate degree in Social work and a genuine desire to serve the society.

Our Vision

To build a social movement that will uproot all form of exploitation and oppression of children and promote and protect the basic human rights of children enabling them to enjoy a dignified childhood.

We believe that the future of the Nation is her children, so it is of utmost importance that we set the process right, right from the very beginning. A society based on the legitimate human rights, justice for all, equality and freedom will emerge only by transforming our children and making
them self-reliant and empowering them to become not only responsible citizens but also caring and compassionate human beings.
