Pankaj Publications pioneered the concept of handy text books for Accountancy related subjects. These books were written specifically keeping in mind the students pursuing B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) program from Osmania University. Problems were carefully selected and presented in a graded manner. There were no solved problems in the book. The price of the first book was fixed at Rs.1.25 (One Rupee twenty five paise) so that even the poorest of students could afford to purchase the books. Consequently, the books became very popular among students of Osmania University. After the universities of (erstwhile, undivided) Andhra Pradesh agreed to follow a “common core” syllabus, the books were introduced to students of other universities and have now become very popular among students as well as the teaching fraternity across the two states.
For the past 44 years, we have remained committed to the mission of making good quality, syllabus specific, examination oriented, handy books containing adequate number of illustrations followed by large number of graded problems, available to students at lowest possible prices. The books are regularly revised to incorporate changes in syllabus, changes in question paper patterns, variance in standard of problems being asked in question papers of various Universities and most importantly, to incorporate the feedback provided by faculty members as well as students.
