ABOUT DRAMANON:
Dramanon (short for Dramatist Anonymous) is an English theatre group that operates out of three cities in India: Hyderabad,Manipal and Bangalore. The three chapters of Dramanon are well integrated and enjoy a strong collaborative bond apart from a common origin.

In 2008 Dramanon was touted by India Today as one of the emerging young English theatre troupes in India. In 2015 Dramanon was ranked as number 8 amongst the theatre groups in India! Dramanon as a group has produced over 50 plays and has performed over 200 shows in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Manipal, Bhubaneshwar, Delhi and Mumbai.

Dramanon Hyderabad has found a unique voice in Hyderabad’s English theatre circles. Collaborating with other prominent English theatre groups, it has played a pivotal role in creating an audience for English theatre in Hyderabad.

The magic started on October 18, 2007 with Dramanon Hyd's first production of the adaptation of 1. 'The Original Last Wish Baby (playwright - William Seebring)'. It has come a long way since then with

In all Dramanon Hyderabad has staged over 18 productions so far, with over 60 shows.
Dramanon won the best play award at the prestigious AYNA theatre competition in 2012 and 2013 which is competition amongst the best theatre groups of this city. Some of the judges for the competition were Mr Om Puri, Ranjit Kapoor, Mrs Rohini Hattangadi and Mr Rakesh Bedi over the 2 years.We also won at the short and sweet theatre competition held at Hyderabad in 2013
Mrs Ratika Sant Keswani, Tavish Bhattacharya, Harika Vedula, Rahul Ghosh and Saurav Sen Sharma have been winners at these competitions in the acting categories.

We have also performed in the Hyderabad Theatre Festival 2009, 2010 and 2102.
Since 2012 Dramanon has been organizing a short play competion for Hyderabad called 'SKitS' - A 12 minute short play competition
It has also brought quality plays to this city - 'Treadmill' by Abhishek Majumdar in 2012, Love Letters by Rage productions in 2013, Piya Behrupiya by The Company Theatre in 2014 and One on One part2 in 2015.

The Dramanon Hyd team handles all aspects of a local production - set design and construction, lights,sound, costumes, finance, sponsorship and publicity. Exhilaration and Entertainment continues to be our principal business. Theatre, short films and workshops are what we do, to get there time and again and promises more magic, madness and memorable performances.
