About Khudiram Study Circle in Basudevpur [Near Andul Rly Stn. (S.E.)], Howrah

"Khudiram Study Circle" was established in 1988 by a group of young students, members of 'Basudevpur Yuba Sanhati', a social and cultural organisation (Regd. under Society Registration Act, 1961).
"Khudiram Study Circle" is a text book library only for economically backward students. Initially it was started with a stock of only 87 old used books. Now the total number of books are 3500. Near about 6000 students have taken the benefit of the library in last twenty five years. This organisation is run mainly by people donation.
