About Asha Bhavan Centre in Kathila, Howrah

Asha Bhavan Centre (Home of Hope) called ABC is a not-for-profit organization working for Marginalised Community in India. Established in 1999 in West Bengal, India, as a care centre for disabled children, we have grown into an organization offering comprehensive integrated support and services for most vulnerable children thorough our initiatives in Home for challenged children, community based rehabilitation, education and training, supplementary education, Slum development programme, rehabilitation centre for mentally ill women, orthopedic workshop, out patient department, supplementary nutrition for malnourished children, as well as emergency relief and rehabilitation.
Lapierre Centre of Excellence for Disabled is our key initiative where 308 disabled children are provided residential cure and care services. The centre is an integrated support unit having residential facilities, vocational training centre, training workshops, out reaches clinic, specialty clinics and an orthopaedic workshop.
