HMHS School was founded in year 1959. The First Head Master was Mr N.N Pal who retired in 1978. Late Shri Y.P.Tripathi took over the school which was till class 8th in 1978. The school was made a High School in 1980. Then further it was upgraded to Higher Secondary Section in 1984. There were Science, Commerce and Arts sections Opened inaugurated by Shri S.L.Bhattar. English Section was founded in year 1981. School went to great heights from 1978 onwards wherein some great Teachers like Shri S.P.Ghosh, Shri Samar Chakraborty, Shri R.N.Singh, Paresh Ghosh, Smt Bani Chaudhary, Tapati Chatterjee ( Gana Behenji ), Mrs Sood, Mrs Mazumdar, Mrs Moorthy and many more.....
