It was in the year 2001 that Dr Vani Jain, a practising Psychiatrist realised that the only options available in Gurgaon for psychiatric treatment & psychotherapy were either the Civil Hospital or the various small time practitioners who ran their private clinics. The focus of clinicians in treating various disorders is mostly pharmacological and this struck Dr Vani Jain quite instantly, and she started working on bringing together all the disciplines of psychiatric/psychological treatment under one roof and began to integrate them in a manner so as to approach the patient’s condition in a holistic way.
