With a view to promote PHOTOGRAPHY in GOA, the 44-year STENODAC EDUCATION GROUP launched the "STENODAC ACADEMY OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND DIGITAL IMAGING" in May 2001.

Goa's premier professional training PHOTOGRAPHY ACADEMY has two Centres, at PANJIM and MARGAO.

From youngster gals and guys (schooling / higher-secondary / college), housewives and businessmen, all those who are passionate about photography - no matter their age group; working persons and aspiring professionals have undergone STENODAC's popular Photography Courses.

Most of them are enthusiastically taking great pictures, which they are proud of and are the admiration of others. Our ex-trainees have won competitions and have had their work featured in newspapers and magazines.

Many are gone in to full time professional photography and are earning handsomely. Some have started basic classes in different parts of Goa, but being ex-students they are augmenting the promulgation of photograph in the State. We look at it as a positive indicator that more and more can benefit from our PIONEERING efforts to get our Goans (or those who have made Goa their home-land) in to the beautiful Art of Photography. IT ALL STARTED FROM "STENODAC", pioneers and leaders in Photography training in Goa.

From humble beginnings when there were just about 40 photography-enthusiasts (besides a dozen of wedding and function photographers) in Goa, in 2001, today we have multiple-hundreds who have taken this art serious and have made a mark for themselves, either as a hobby or professionally.
