The essence of Pousada Calangute is that although it is located in Calangute, the most popular of Goa’s beach destinations, it is tucked away in a tranquil spot where the noise and bustle fades away and you can revel in the calm and warmth of your surroundings. Having said that, the beach is within walking distance and the centre of Calangute, a mere ten minutes by foot.
Pousada Calangute is a family run guest house which has elegant shared rooms, two with ensuite washrooms as well as private rooms, with an ensuite washrooms. All the rooms are presently non a/c. Although we do not currently have a restaurant, there plenty to pick from, offering a range of cuisines within a radius of 100 metres.
At Pousada Calangute, we cater to the lone traveler looking for an opportunity to meet people, the group of friends in search of shared accommodation, the couple wanting to be in the centre of it all, but just away to be able to shut out the noise. Lounge on our spacious verandah overlooking the beautiful garden, where you have access to free wifi or just soak in the sun in one of our garden hammocks while catching up on your favourite book or one borrowed from our diverse collection. Pousada Calangute is characterized by its serene surroundings. Greet the day to the sounds of the roosters crowing and the birds chirping. One of the many things that is unique to Pousada Calangute is that the garden is visited throughout the day by a diverse specious of birds and butterflies.
Of course, adventure awaits you just outside, should you want it, with the beach and all the popular restaurants, nightclubs and other attractions at a walking distance. Enjoy the authentic Goan experience in a quiet corner of Calangute while still being where all the action is. Our friendly staff are always at your service and will make your stay a memorable one.
