THE CORE TEAM:
The action began in 2009 when the founding partners Vinesh and Darryl decided to quit their decade long successful creative practices in Mumbai and follow their hearts to start a knowledge sharing platform, which took the shape of Art Escape as a Resort and Resto-lounge bar.

Darryl (graphic designer, branding expert & artist) brings in 15 yrs of experience in the creative discipline from running Graficity Design Studio, NEWD & Creative Director Retailscape. His passion is exploring different mediums of painting.

Vinesh (architect & researcher) brings in 12 yrs of multidisciplinary practice working with urban & rural communities, govt. bodies, NGOS, environment executive member CRIT (NGO) & running MADe Designers & De FACTO Pvt Ltd. as a Co-Founder and Creative Director. His passion is working hands on & developing products out of waste.

In 2011, Carol and Sandra joined as partners.

Carol is a graduate of hospitality management with a decade’s experience in the service industry with various airlines. Having been on a six year hiatus from work to focus on her new born passions, Moksh and Vardaan, she is now ready to embark on a new adventure of self discovery in the inspiring environs of art escape.

Sandra was a part of the core team that set up habitat world in the india habitat centre in new delhi, following which she is a core member of a leading ad film production house in mumbai called redice productions..her passions are many but she most indulges her passions for photography, pottery and her two year old nephew...her need for a greener life has led her to art escape.
