About Handwriting Olympiad in Arithang, Opposite Canara Bank, Gangtok, East Sikkim, Gangtok

Our team of Research Scholars had documented enough information & knowledge about English Handwriting in 17 years. They identified more than 56 reasons that affected the legibility when one scripted in English. They also concluded that success of students in academics depended a lot on their ‘good Handwriting Skills’. They coined phrases like ‘you write good, you express better’ or ‘ better the writing, better is the vocabulary’, and even ‘marks scored are directly proportional to the legibility of your writing’ so on & so forth.
Our survey astounded us when we found ‘every third school going child has one or the other problem in his handwriting’. Further adding salt to the wound was the unhappy revealing fact that, the ones with illegible or poor writing skills, showed poor mind motor coordination. They made many spelling mistakes, created incomplete sentences, wrote slow, missed out on answers & many more add on problems like, low confidence & self esteem, arrogant behavior (probably owing to the mal-treatment in schools by teachers & peers!)
We as concerned educationists decided to share the knowledge of our Handwriting experts with the students across the world and try our best to help those with poor writing skills. We decided to give corrective advice to any & every student we could reach.
But the mammoth question was “HOW?”
How in the world are we going to reach the huge population of India, forget the world!
Well, thus came the thought, if we cannot reach them, is there a way we can make them reach out to us?
Yes! there certainly is, if we can somehow motivate them to send us the writing samples. Our experts analyze them, identify the errors, and prepare corrective advice to help them repair their errors that would make their Handwriting legible & presentable.
Thus was born the great idea of the Handwriting Olympiad in 2010.
