Skill DevelopmentA very important development:
The Government of India has formed a new ministry namely- Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in Nov 2014.
Now NIESBUD is under this new Ministry. Prime Minister is directly supervising the Skill Development programmes.
New Skill Development Policy launched by Government of India in July 2015 to meet the challenges of skilling the youth with speed and quality.
India is emerging as a hub for trained manpower for the world with unlimited job opportunities.
By the year 2020, India will need appx. 11 crore skilled manpower across 24 sectors of economy.
India’s 54% population is below 25 years of age. The new Skill Development Policy will target for training of this youth to empower them to use their full potential.
Government of India has also launched National Skill Development Mission to provide job opportunities for the trained and skilled young people like you.
The Skill Development Ministry has also launched : Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY) under which the people who have been trained from the Centres approved by Ministry of Skill Development and NIESBUD will be eligible for financial help and loans at simple interest rates.
All of you will be eligible for all the benefits of new Ministry, new Policy, National Skill Development Mission and PMKVY because our Centre is approved by NIESBUD under Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
I will arrange a detailed presentation for you regarding all these benefits through NIESBUD officers during my next visit to Delhi.
