Swaraksha-An Initiative against Child Abuse/A people's movement (NGO) to support Child Empowerment (uphold Rights & Protection)

Swaraksha is a Charitable Trust (Reg No: 348/IV/2016) registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1882.

The recent child abuse which shook Bangalore's confidence on safety affected us in a big way. After a few sleepless nights, we, a group of friends, felt the need to address the issue.

'Swaraksha' was started as a people's movement for spreading awareness and educating children as well as general public in the most vulnerable age groups/situations about physical assault and sexual abuse of children.

Our campaign covers students, parents, teachers, schools (both normal and special) residential associations etc. Educational sesions are conducted for children in the age group of Std. I to Std XII through visuals and interactive sessions. Our team consists of professionals from various fields, including doctors, psychologists, educationists, IT professionals, media people, special educators, teachers, and celebrities from the film fraternity.

Like minded people are invited to join the movement.
