Mother Touch is committed to both thought and action. Our aim is to imbibe life skills & values in little hearts that can catalyse their thought process and actions inspiring them to lead, no matter whether in the private, public or non-profit sector.
Practicing life skills leads to qualities such as self-esteem, sociability and tolerance, to action competencies to take action and generate change, and to capabilities to have the freedom to decide what to do and who to be. Many schools pay a lot of attention to academics, but the focus has to shift from rote learning to experimental learning. Founder director of Mother Touch, Mrs. Poonam Kumari believes that that education should be directed towards the development of the child’s fullest potential. And that is why she has made life skills like vision, mission, passion, commitment, courage, decision making, dealing with problem and dealing with failures a part of our curriculum. At Mother Touch, Learning outcomes are usually expressed as measurable gains in knowledge and skills and the successful integration of values and attitudes into the educational experience.
