About St Xavier's College Maharo Dumka in ST XAVIER'S COLLEGE MAHARO, Dumka

The Jesuits of Dumka Raiganj province realized the need of a good college and educational institution in the locality of Dumka, which could build up the skills and talents of the youth of the Santhal Parganas. Hence they decided to open a college at Maharo, Dumka and St. Xavier's College Maharo, Dumka is the outcome of this felt need of the people.
St. Xavier's College, Dumka aims at an integral and personalized education of the young by providing well planned courses. It strives to produce intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed, spiritually inspired and nationally dedicated men and women in in the service of our country. There is an urgent need to work for social justice, respect for life and creation and integrity of our country.
