About Diveagar:
Diveagar is a popular tourist destination in the Indian state of Maharashtra. This village is a quaint little place that is located in the Raigad district in the state.
Diveagar is mainly famous for its beach, which is a very beautiful and serene location that is not to crowded and infested with tourists. For this reason, if you’re looking to spend some quiet time in a pristine beach, at peace with yourself, Diveagar beach is the place for you.
Diveagar Beach, stretching 6 km, is one of the chief attractions of the destination. Characteristic of white sand and crystal clear water, this beach is surrounded by Suru trees, which are rarely found on this coast.
The place with beach very wide and clean is blessed with intense natural beauty. It is densely covered by coconut and betel-nut trees. Diveagar is situated approximately 160 Kms from Pune and 170 Kms from Mumbai, the closest konkan beach to Pune and Mumbai. The village is very quiet and one can relax on weekends in Diveagar, that is why it is considered as the best tourist weekend destination for Pune and Mumbai.
