About Oorja Development Solutions Limited in IX/6137 Shivaji Gali, Near PNB, Gandhi Nagar, Delhi

Oorja is a project developer of solar PV and solar/biomass gasification hybrid smart grids of 10–50 kW that are customized to local needs. These systems provide reliable and affordable energy to power SMEs in the agricultural value chain (grain mills, cold storages, dairy chilling units), cottage industries and irrigation pumps for smallholder farmers. We currently operate in rural Uttar Pradesh, India.

Oorja aims to combat several social, economic and environmental challenges simultaneously. Our disruptive solution helps improve education, health, empowerment of women, food security, livelihood generation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In the long run, our solution also helps in poverty alleviation by means of increased income for farmers, creation of jobs and small enterprise development.
