About Karmabhoomi in 15, bharat vandana sector 19 dwarka, Delhi

Karmabhoomi an open society, registered under Society Registration Act of 1860, aims for socioeconomic development of India.
Karmabhoomi focuses on the villages of India by creating labor intensive self sustained societies that combine the “Karm” ie the skill set of the people with the available resources, It aims to educate and generate employment opportunities for the members of rural India with Urban intellectual interaction. The employment generation is a part of utilizing the wasting or otherwise dormant resources locally available.
Karmabhoomi has framed a project to utilize the wasting abundant apricots of the Ladakh in order to generate an income resource for the villagers. Turtuk produces large tonnage of apricots, 60% of which are wasted due to unavailability to process them into sellable commodity. This project has completed its feasibility phase and the authorities of the villages have been given the first intimation of the plan.
