About B&BatReens in F-13 Model Town, Delhi

B&B@Reens is run by M.P.S. Reen, who turned a professional photographer after a career as a hotel executive and his sister Ramindra, a retired home science teacher. They have now decided to let out the spare rooms in their house for the short stay comfort seeking visitor.

The concept of a bed and breakfast accommodation within a home as visualised by Hon. Chief Minister of Delhi for the Commonwealth Games was the perfect format to change the perception of the foreign visitors to India and look beyond poverty and tourist attractions into a society with a vast and rich heritage culture. The idea was akin to the philosophy that had been inculcated into the Reens both by their proximity to the hospitality industry and parents, which was to provide a comfortable bed to sleep in and a wholesome meal to whosoever came to stay.

M P S’s graduation from the ‘Oberoi School of Hotel Management’ and Ramindra’s in Home Science from ‘Lady Irwin College’ makes the ideal combination for providing the comforts of a hotel with the informality of being at home with a personal touch. They do not believe in leaving their guests to attendants but caring for them personally.

The Reens’ home is more identified by their pet dachshunds more than anything else. They are ardent dog lovers and have hardly ever been without one. So do not be surprised if the door bell is answered by a loud bark from inside.

Located in North Delhi the Yellow line of the Delhi Metro connects B&B@Reens to the farthest corner of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in not more than an hour and a quarter. The Delhi University North Campus is 5mins. by metro, the Interstate Bust Terminal Kashmiri Gate 12mins., the Old City 15mins., New Delhi Railway Station 20mins. and you are at Connaught Place, the city centre in 22mins.

Air-conditioned double and the twin rooms with attached baths are furnished with traditional and modern furnishings that have the warmth and comforts of a home and privacy of a hotel.

Traditional Indian and continental breakfast is inclusive in the room rate and served at the family dining table. A pantry near the rooms is equipped with all gadgets where the guests can self help themselves. McDonald’s, Dominoes and other restaurants are five minutes walking distance away or guests meals.
