Born on 29th January..at remote village called Egara, Pauri Garhwal in the abode of Himalayas, "Sainik Shiromani" Manoj Dhyani is popularly called as 'Man of Movement' among fellow activist, civil society members, general society, family members & relatives. As being one of the primary activist of Uttarakhand statehood movement Manoj Dhyani was among the first to be felicitated as 'Sainik Shiromani' by the hands of his excellency 1st UK Governor Sardar Surjeet Singh Barnala. Manoj Dhyani was one who suffered 02 gunshot severe injuries during Uttarakhand movement n the only one who refused to take interim relief from then UP Govt. Manoj Dhyani were one who also was primary participant in Sri Yantra Tapoo (Srinagar Garhwal) movement and was brutally injured and spent 13 days in the Shaharanpur (UP) jail along with other 51 statehood movement activist. Apart Manoj Dhyani lead 'Jati Todo-Samaj Jodo' andolan, Vriksha Bandhan Abhiyan (Tie Rakhi n Tree plantation), 'Chatra Yuva Sankalp Yatra with slogan "Chalo Gairsain" n currently one leader who visualised "Shiksha Swaraj Jansangarsh " to ameliorate pathetic educational system in Uttarakhand hills and against the loot of private institutions in the name of imparting quality ...it won't be a surprise to state that he declined Uttarakhand govt offer for Government employment and leads perfect sainthood life "
