About Blue Umbrella Club in T.N.H.B Colony, Peelamedu, Coimbatore

Reading and Social play are habits that evokes children's imagination and develop their EQ. But modern day gadget driven world offers less scope to children for the development of these habits. Children read less and surf more. Children interact with TV and Tabs better than the kids next door. This increase in children’s TV interface and their usage of electronic gadgets has got significant detrimental effects on their physical as well as psychological development.
The motive of this club is to counter effect this scenario by encouraging children to give more time to book reading and interact with their surroundings which not only reduce the adverse effects mentioned earlier but also will open their eyes of observation.
The BU Club will be active through workshops, sessions, social activities which are scheduled during weekends.
The Blue Umbrella sessions will :
Educate communication etiquette & grooms their confidence and social skills.
Helps them realise their responsibilities towards the society.
