About Lasuney in Rajgarh, Churu

Lasuney is a chutney movement; a movement for women empowerment in rural Rajasthan. Lasuney was born out the realization of the amazing culinary talent of women in rural Rajasthan. This is where the traditional flavours have survived and gastronomic secrets best kept.

Rajasthan is famous for its chutney varieties. They are made with a bomb of favours and are a culinary delight. Lahsun chutney is essential to every Rajasthani kitchen. This chutney is manually ground on a grindstone with Lahsun, red chilies, water and other local seasonal vegetables. Getting the flavour consistency right is an art that women in rural Rajasthan master.

With Lasuney, we are trying to unite economically backward women of Rajasthan to come under a roof and use their culinary talent in making fresh batches of wholesome chutney that can be sold in the nearby urban market of Delhi/NCR and Hissar.

Please note that we don’t use any preservatives in our production and every batch will be freshly made and packed especially for you!
