Shanthi Kunnj Homestay has been awarded with the Golden Category Recognition Award by the Ministry of Tourism Department of the state of Karnataka, India.

The once barren land on Holy Cross Estate, Chikmagalur, Karnataka, India, has now turned into a flourishing plantation and shelter for many tourists, both within and outside India. Thanks to Mr. Anthony Saldanha, who developed this mission and vision back in 1983-84. The land has seen tremendous production over the years. Apart from Cardamom, Areca, Banana, Vanilla and Black Pepper, Coffee- Robusta is the most widely grown product. The same is exported to many countries worldwide.
