A LITTLE HISTORY :-
“FORT-BALLALARAYA” as it is popularly known is a feast to your eyes. The kings who travelled all the way from the south decided to establish their empire in 1818. However we have no idea about how many kings ruled this heaven on earth. But, as per history “TIPU SULTHAN” learned his swords fighting under the king ballalaraya and later this king was conqured by tipu
We have some of the historical landmarks like ‘sulthanpete’ named after the sulthan was the market place. We have an age old ‘KALABHAIRAVA’ temple which signifies the hoysala reign. There is ‘SHIVANA BAGILU’ where the king wondered on his horse, fort, a tower, a flag hoisting pole etc.. There is lots more, now get adventures.,
