Allow us an introduction, we the “Boardwalkers”, are an entertainment company based in Chennai and we have been in the business of entertainment since 1990. One of the oldest Theatre Groups in Chennai. Our first production was the Rock Opera “Jesus Christ Superstar”, which premiered at the Open Air Theatre at the IIT Chennai, on Feb 9th, 1991. A Cast of 72 members, comprising of Dancers, Actors and Musicians, enchanted and mesmerized the 5000 strong audience, in a show that is remembered in this city to this day.

Over the past decade and a half, we have created and produced many memorable shows, Amadeus, The Fallen [India’s first rock opera and only the 7th in the world], The Hairy Ape, Biloxi Blues, The Bible [the RSC version!!!], Hamlet [The RSC version!!!], Jesus Christ Superstar, The Royal Hunt of the Sun and Twice around the Park, to name a few.
