The Madras Christian Council of Social Services is a non-profit organisation, build to help the oppressed, deshumanized and forsaken people. Since 1965 it has been working on people empowering with a special focus on women, senior citizens and children, who are the most vulnerable people inside the society.
The four deppartments attend victims from Human Trafficking, abandoned elders and children, provides with counselling to women that faces domestic violence and harrassement, and supports women empowering, through the assessment in microbusiness and in skills development.
We have many volunteers from all over the world, who simply want to spend some time doing something meaningfull during their hollidays, or perform their professional internship for any career.
