About Meda Raveendra Reddy Foundation in A8, Vagai Apartment, 4 Giri Street, Westmambalam, Chennai

The mission of the Meda Raveendra Reddy Foundation is to free the humanity from sufferings through peace and compassion. The following goals have been set to realise the above mission.

Peace & harmony in the world:

Funding workshops and lectures for promoting peace & harmony, Promoting importance of non-violence, Bringing positive change in the society through the change in individuals and Promoting rational thinking

Elimination of poverty & imparting education:

To sponsor the school fee for the poor children,
Sponsoring/establishing infrastructure facilities that can improve quality of living & learning,
To conduct short term courses for elderly people to teach basics of reading and writing,
Encouragement towards co-curricular activities,
Establishing universities, colleges and schools,
Promoting art of learning through lectures,

Community development:

Establishment of community development centres ( Town halls/libraries/play grounds /internet hub and etc), Sponsoring vehicles and equipment for emergency medical services, Establishment of hospitals and medical centres, Sponsoring cultural development programs, Provide food & financial assistance to orphans and old age people, Provide medicines for the sick and needy, Promoting the importance of cleanliness and healthy living &
Environment conservation and planting of more trees.

Citizen’s development:

Bridging the communication gap between the government and the citizens, Providing guidance to public institutions to bring necessary changes in the policies to improve the living conditions & safety of the citizens, Promoting importance of honesty and virtues of human being, Promoting awareness on Road safety and reduction of road accidents, Promoting gender equality and prevention of violence against woman

Animal protection:

Having compassion to all living beings helps us to protect animals from killing for illegal trading, sacrificing for beliefs and commoditising. To promote vegetarianism to prevent slaughtering of animals for food.

Every one of us realise that peace can never be achieved through violence and hate. We want to cultivate the importance of understanding and compassion through the following activities.

A business man without self-interest can teach the world the right purpose of doing business.
A teacher without self-interest can make his teachings more joyful for the students. Our goal is to create such a mind set in the people, who can change this world for better.

Poverty and un-education is the breeding ground for beliefs and superstitions. We want to help poor people to get minimum education to make them think on their own and support themselves for their daily needs. We hope to achieve this by doing the following

I see large communication gap between the government institutions and the citizens.
