About Measi Matriculation Higher Sec School in 53 Angappa Naicken Street Parrys, Chennai

In 1983 the general body of MEASI proposed to start a school in north madras area. The MEASI matriculation higher secondary school opened on 1st July 1985.

Classes for L.K.G/U.K.G along with classes I to V were declared open. The first year of its existence saw only 35 students and 5 staff members with Mrs.Fazal Fathima as principal In-charge. From 35 students to 1500 students the school has come a long way with a history unique in its own way.

The school was served by the respective managing committee of three year term each. It's worth mentioning the untiring and laudable efforts of janab late T.Abdul Wahid Sahib and janab A.J. Abdul Razack Sahib, who were instrumental in bringing the school into existence.

The role of Dr.Syed Khaleefathullah and janab H. M.Shamsuden in taking the school to remarkable heights of recognition and achievements cannot be described in a few words. Their efforts deserve all appreciation and achievements.
