CRAB (Creative arts and business) is an initiative to create a platform for exchange and network among the Art and Design community in Chennai. Creative Arts and Business have always been a problematic combination. Creative Arts thrives on the never seen before, shunning formulae and dismissive of rules. The world of Business is seen as a strong economic force, residing in neat, identifiable and quantifiable processes. But when Creative Arts and Business meet they form a formidable combination.‘Crab Design FESTIVAL 2013’ is all about exploring possibilities, to express, discuss and discover the one main theme message of the Crab fair -‘DREAMS BECOME STORIES’.
It’s a time of learning through informal discussions highlighting the different design techniques followed in the world scenario and also a time for students from different colleges to showcase their creative expressions, by way of displaying their works through various innovative contests and creative workshops. CRAB 2013 is a unique event, bringing students and professionals together on one platform.
