About ConceptOlympiad in No.18, Old No.161, 1st floor, Thiruvalluvar Salai, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai

CONCEPT Olympiad is an attempt by distinguished IIT Alumni to bring in a holistic assessment of child’s concept based development at respective standard for classes 5th to 10th.
•This will be a 2 hour duration test based on mathematics and science knowledge of students
•Each standard will have a separate paper considering the level of knowledge and expectation from assessment
•Question paper contains 3 sections- CONCEPT Master, Litmus Test, Numerical Champion
•Detailed pattern of CONCEPT Olympiad will be as follows:
oCONCEPT Master: This section contains 4 passages explaining concepts (2 Mathematics, 2 Science). There will be 5 follow-up questions related to each passage
oLitmus Test: This section contains questions that will test misconceptions among the relevant standard concepts through assertion and reasoning format questions. This section contains 10 questions ( 5 mathematics and 5 science)
oNumerical Champion: This section contains numerical questions from relevant standard. A total of 10 questions (5 mathematics and 5 science)
•Each correct answer would fetch +4 and a negative mark (-1) for wrong answers. No marking for questions left unanswered
