The newly invented Indian Abacus device is a highly advanced version tool and of the state-of-the-art in design. The invented product versions take the Abacus device to a level unseen and unheard of so far.
The Indian Abacus products developed offer greater ease and comfort in registering in memory of the images representing the values. When the child manipulates the slider/s to do calculations, the slider/s pushed towards the bar project open the hidden colour (Red and Green) images, which otherwise hide the images in the no value position in sync with the body of the Indian Abacus.
1. Indian Abacus - Non Digital for students:

This Abacus when the sliders are manipulated reveal colour images representing numbers / value equivalents. The projection of colour images was focused to be the very strong feature of the invention. Colour images meaning numbers / values form strong stimulus. The projections of colour images draw the attention of the eyes faster, easier and in a stronger measure, resulting in the response becoming easier, faster and equally stronger in the paying of attention. The sliders revealing colour images when moved towards the bar do not also trickle / fall down in the slots to its Original position even if the abacus is held upright which is again a new feature which gives the children scope to read well the images keeping the abacus upright during the initial learning and to also show to the tutor the final answer to see from a distance.

This device is also a product of invention as mentioned above. The strong features of Indian Abacus are retained in this. Further the additional features of this devise are:

This device is an electronic tool; it has both hardware and software which facilitates usage of the abacus in the normal way apart from displaying values / answers on the LCD which is a part of the tool. The student working with the physical Indian Abacus Digital can identify the numbers from the colour images projected and also can see value equivalents for slider movements / images displayed on the LCD Screen.

The other most important aspect of this device is to access Indian Abacus E-learning web portal and using the tool the sums appearing on the web page can be solved and answers can be submitted on to the web page. Thus the tool facilitates learning, practicing and to take assessments online. This tool and the special features of it help the students work online anywhere and anytime. This is one of its kind and there is no other similar device now in the world. We have registered the device for patent & design of its tool along with the three others.

3. Indian Abacus Non Digital for Tutors:

This device is an exact replica of the Indian Abacus Non Digital for students (No.1 above) except that this tool is of a bigger size used mainly by the Abacus tutors to train the children.

4. Indian Abacus Digital for Tutors:

This tool is again a replica of Indian Abacus Non Digital for tutors (No.3 above) except that it is big & has additional features such as LED to display the answers on it for the slider movements made and it also has an MP3 unit through which a number of recorded oral sums could be played by the tutors from a distance using a remote control which has many options to choose – such as No.of digits, rows, time limits, pause, answer display, etc. The tutors could therefore simultaneously supervise the class / observe the students abacus calculations, while the oral sums session is on.
