Punjab Stores, was established in 1961 by late Mr. N.R.MITTAL. He belonged to patiala and decided to settle in the city beautiful when no one was really interested to come to the first new city of independent India.

The store has always been known for quality products and services.In the year 1971,store was awarded with the best shop award.It has been catering to the most elite clientele of the town and surrounding areas.

It was firstly renovated in 1992 and was the first air conditioned store of the town.

Recently the store was renovated in October 2009 and two more floors were added to it which included the meat section and the fruits and vegetables section.
