Make in Odisha is a mission of Odisha Economic forum which helps the industrial fraternity to focus on the setting up of industrial and manufacturing hub in Odisha.

In this regard Odisha Economic Forum gives an integrated solutions to the entrepreneurs by way of providing Project report till all statutory clearances and setting up of the project.

Now the State Government are leaving no stone unturned to see the tempo of economic growth in the state of Odisha. Recently focus have been given on apparel and handloom sectors. At present While some of the existing policies were revamped with lucrative incentives. Some new policies like Odisha Apparel Policy, Odisha Renewable Energy policy and Odisha Pharmaceutical Policy are announced. The basic objective of the policies is to offer investment opportunities to grow in the Make in Odisha.

Odisha is gearing up for the Make in Odisha conclave to attract largest investment. This obviously with Keeping in mind the employment potential in apparel sector. The state government in its policy announced to provide capital grant of 20 per cent of project cost with a cap of Rs 20 crore to investors interested for setting up of apparel parks in the state. The investors would also be entitled to interest free loan up to 10 per cent of the project cost (maximum up to Rs 10 crore). Also the apparel units would receive an incentive of Rs 1000 per worker per month on financial year if 90 per cent of workers (unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled) are from Odisha.
